Welcome to our new Curate
The Reverend Jane Culliford was ordained as Assistant Curate in
the Dorchester Team Ministry on September 30th, at a most impressive
service in Salisbury Cathedral attended by no less than four Bishops.
Along with thirteen other candidates from across the Diocese, she
committed herself to serve as a Deacon, and later, had her feet washed
by the Bishop of Salisbury, and received a stole from her Training Minister,
Dru Dennis, Team Vicar of St Peter's.
On the following day, she was welcomed by St Peter's congregation at a
special Parish Communion, at which she made the required promises, and
was installed to serve in the Benefice of Dorchester. Although much of
her work will be at St Peter's, she will also appear at the other
churches in the Benifice.
