Study and discussion

Weekly address and Compline: St. George’s, Mondays, 7.30 p.m.—with a particular
focus on spiritual giants of recent generations

Weekly study and discussion groups:

1. St. Peter's, Mondays, 3-4 p.m.
2. St. Mary's, Wednesdays, 7 p.m. ending with Compline

Devotional / Contemplative

Weekly meditations on the theme: Thursday, 8 to 9.15 p.m. 10, Billingsmoor Lane,
Poundbury
The Stations of the Cross; St. Mary's, Tuesdays, 7 p.m.
“From Wilderness to Hope: Walking the Way of the Cross” - special interactive day
for people of all ages based on a modern version of the Stations of the Cross.
Saturday 15th March, from 10 a.m. (drop in), St. George’s.

Lent Lunches

Fridays, 12.30—2 p.m.—simple lunch and invited donations to the Sudan Church
Appeal. Begins on 8th February at St. Peter's and then in different churches of
the Benefice. Transport available.

Worship to begin your Lent journey.

You are encouraged to attend one of the main Benefice services for the start of Lent. These are;

Wednesday 6th February: Ash Wednesday

10 a.m.    Eucharist with imposition of Ashes (St. Peter's)

7.30 p.m. Eucharist with the imposition of ashes (St. George’s)

Sunday 10th February: First Sunday of Lent

9.45 a.m. United Benefice Eucharist at St. Mary's. Guest preacher, the
Ven. June Osborne, Dean of Salisbury Cathedral.
